CompassionIT Spotlight on AI & Innovation

Today, a Chief Medical Informatics Officer plays a pivotal role at the intersection of clinical strategy, technology, and change management, turning innovation into impact while navigating complexity, risk, and organizational adoption. Join Nabla's Co-Founder & CTO Martin Raison for an in-depth fireside chat with Rebecca Markowitz, MD, MA, Chief Medical Informatics Officer at M Health Fairview, as they explore how the health system is thinking about and applying AI across the enterprise. From clinical excellence to operational efficiency, they’ll highlight where AI is already making a difference, what’s unique about M Health Fairview’s approach, and how academic and community care integration supports meaningful innovation.

The conversation will also touch on challenges and safeguards, from accountability to safety, and discuss what true collaboration between AI developers and healthcare leaders should look like to ensure that technology aligns with real-world clinical priorities.
