Steve Fridakis is the Chief Information Security Officer of Oracle Health where he leads the security team, implementing robust cybersecurity strategies and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of patient information. Prior to Oracle, he was the CISO at Google Health, HBO, United Nations Development Program and United Nations FAO serving in the US (NY) and Italy. His 30 years career in IT also includes technical positions at VeriSign, Netscape, and DHL. He holds post graduate degrees in Business Administration, and Computer Science, and multiple certifications in IT Security Management and Disaster Recovery. He has served in the USNR and is the holder of multiple US patents in IT Security. He is a volunteer EMT, a member of USCG Auxiliary and a weekend pickleball warrior.

Esteban has been in the tech industry for over 20 years, going from startups to Healthcare IT where he helps providers, payers, and life sciences customers solve problems with data. He is particularly focused on cloud, AI, Enterprise Imaging, and unstructured data. As Healthcare Field CTO at Oracle, he brings subject-matter expertise to technology conversations with the Quintuple Aim as a guiding light. He tries to avoid burnout by competing in powerlifting.
